The Potting Shed is a cabin comprised of one large open-plan living area the kitchen at one end comfortable L-shaped sofa and small dining table in the middle and king-sized double bed at the far end There is a small bathroom with a shower unit hand basin and toilet The large bi-fold doors open onto the patio area in front of the property with stunning sea views There is also a large lawned area solely for guests use The property is accessed via a garden path from the off-road parking area The path is about 100m long and follows a decline along the edge of the exotic garden - please note that for those who struggle with mobility this property may not be the most suitable choice Parts of the path a step so we wouldn t recommend to elderly guests The owner lives in the house on the same grounds but The Potting Shed parking area and garden is totally separate The Potting Shed is compact but fitted with full-size appliances such as fridge freezer electric oven and hob microwave and slimline dishwasher Other equipment includes toaster kettle a variety of kitchen utensils cutlery crockery and glasses A smart television is mounted on the wall by the sofa The TV offers catch-up television via iPlayer and Chromecast and Netflix is also available which offers a variety of films and TV programmes the internet is not usually strong fast enough in Porlock Weir to watch live TV but catch up and on-demand TV is available There is also an ipod docking station with DAB radio and wifi A hairdryer is also provided for your convenience Electricity and heating costs are included in the price of your accommodation The Potting Shed has underfloor heating which is controlled by a thermostat and can be adjusted to suit your preferences Bed linen duvets blankets and towels are provided for your convenience but please bring your own beach towels if you wish to take towels with you on day trips Please note the kitchen taps have hot water supplied from the under-counter heater but the bathroom tap doesn t have hot water Please note there is no hanging space for clothes If you require your clothes to be hung this isn t the best choice for you A small amount of tea coffee sugar milk and biscuits are provided to ensure you can have a hot drink as soon as you arrive There may also be other non-perishable items like a salt pepper and a few herbs or spices available Cleaning materials such as washing up liquid dishwasher powder and surface cleaner will be present in the property One or two toilet rolls will be provided Directly in front of the property is the patio area a perfect spot for dining al fresco and listening to the sea lapping the shore below There is also a lawn below the patio available for your sole use Secure off-road parking for one car is available in the grounds of the garden A garden path leads from the parking area to The Potting Shed approx 100 metres Two dogs are welcome by prior arrangement A supplementary fee of 15 per dog will be added to your invoice Please do not allow your dog on the furniture and do not leave them alone in the property at any time The Potting Shed is strictly non-smoking The property will be ready from 2 pm on the day of your arrival Please depart by 10 am on the last day of your stay Please leave the property clean and tidy so that we can guarantee it will be ready on time for our next guests
